Welcome to Bread and Roses Farm CSA
It is our belief that healthy communities and healthy farms are intricately linked, each supporting the other.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a relationship of mutual support and commitment between farmers and community members. CSA members buy shares of the harvest upfront, and in return, receive a weekly selection of delicious produce at a 10-20% discount of retail prices. Payment helps cover the continued expenses of running a farm using environmentally sound practices, and ensures a livable wage for the farmers. Weather can be a factor in the outcome of the harvest - members agree to share both the surpluses and the losses throughout the season.
Through weekly CSA pickups and on-farm events, we hope to create a place for community to grow and connect. Whether it is sharing a seasonal recipe with your neighbor or taking a hayride alongside our fields, you can be assured that where there is food and fun, community will blossom.
